Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Field Technician to support on-site concrete testing and soil density checks. You will sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and cast cylinders while documenting results the same day. Training and certification sponsorship are provided.

You will work outdoors at various sites, travel as needed, and report findings to on-site superintendents. No prior experience is required; we train and fund certifications to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot and cold conditions.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable attitude.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certifications are a plus and sponsorable.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31; run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare clear daily field reports.
