Job summary

Quality Air Service (QAS) within the Envelop Group community seeks a motivated Controlled Environment Service Technician to test, certify, and service airflow control and cleanroom systems for customers' critical environments in Eastern Michigan. The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to travel locally.

You will read drawings, perform certifications, document results, and support startup and training while following strict safety and contamination control

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years in controlled environment testing or HVAC fields.
• Knowledge of USP <797>, ISO cleanroom standards preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform data analysis.
• Willing to travel locally within Eastern Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, testing, certification, and troubleshooting of airflow and cleanroom systems.
• Read drawings and determine balancing techniques.
• Document testing results and complete commissioning reports.
• Follow gowning and contamination control procedures.
• Attend job site meetings and provide customer training.
• Assist with installation verification and minor field adjustments.
