Job summary

Quality Air Service, part of the Envelop Group, seeks a Controlled Environment Service Technician to test, certify, commission, and service specialized airflow control and cleanroom systems. The role requires reading blueprints, performing certification tests on HEPA systems, and maintaining documentation.

You will travel within Eastern Michigan to support critical environments and uphold strict gowning, contamination control, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years in controlled environment testing, TAB, HVAC, or related field.
• Strong understanding of airflow, room pressurization, filtration, and cleanroom applications.
• Experience with certification procedures and environmental monitoring equipment.
• Familiarity with USP <797>/<800>, ISO cleanroom standards.

Responsibilities

• Test, certify, commission, and service airflow control, cleanroom, and air monitoring systems.
• Read drawings and specifications to determine balancing techniques and project approach.
• Conduct airflow measurements, room pressurization verification, and HEPA testing per standards.
• Document installation records, calibration and commissioning reports; manage paperwork timely.
• Travel locally within Eastern Michigan to support critical environments.
