Job summary

BlackHawk Technology Group is seeking a field technician to install, program, repair, and move CCTV, Access Control, Communications, and Network systems in customer operations. You will assist in training technicians and support project design from a field perspective.

The role requires strong wiring, networking and telecommunications knowledge, along with the ability to work in remote, harsh environments on customer sites. A valid driver’s license and on-the-road work are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, CCTV, Access Control, Telecommunications or similar program.
• Associate’s degree in electronics, communications or similar program, or comparable military training.
• Five years direct experience as a Field Technician or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage installation, optimization and maintenance of CCTV, Access Control, Communications, and Network Systems.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair CCTV, Access Control, Communications, and Network Systems.
• Train other technicians and assist in project design and field execution.
