Job summary

BlackHawk Datacom is seeking a Field Technician to install, program and service CCTV, Access Control, Communications and Network systems in customer environments.

You'll assist in training field technicians, help design customer networks, and manage field projects. The role requires hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors and customers across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years’ field technician experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and network systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, optimize and maintain CCTV, access control, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair CCTV and control systems as needed.
• Interpret manuals and schematics for correct configurations.
• Lead field technicians and assist in training others.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineers and customers on technical issues.
