Job summary

BlackHawk Datacom is seeking a Field Project Technician to install, program, repair, and move CCTV, Access Control, Communications, and Network systems in support of customer operations.

The role includes assisting in the development and certification of field technicians and apprentices, and managing field aspects of projects as needed. Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control and networking is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV, Access Control, Communications and Network Systems preferred.
• Familiarity with field installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret manuals and schematics for proper configuration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, optimize and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Communications and Network Systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair CCTV, Access Control, Communications and Network Systems unassisted.
• Assist in training other technicians toward higher levels of expertise.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineers and customers to resolve issues and outages.
