Qualified candidates have 5+ years of environmental field experience, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and a valid driver’s license; OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER is a plus. Salary range $66,000–$110,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Field Technician (CA) – Sr.

Our US Central Environmental business is looking for a Field Technician (CA) – Sr. to join their field team in Fresno, CA. As a technician, you will support a variety of remediation and O&M projects throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of soil and groundwater remediation systems, which may include:
• Mechanical, and electrical, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Data collection
• Site inspections and system performance sampling
• Equipment and chemical inventory
• Jobsite housekeeping
• Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, vapor, etc. in accordance with applicable standards
• Collection of detailed field notes and excellent oral communication
• Coordination with contractors and service providers and oversight of contractor activities
• Provide support and oversight to other field activities as needed
• Coordination with project team, local stakeholders, and client

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; College degree is a plus especially if in environmental related field (e.g., geology, wastewater operations, environmental science)
• 5+ years of environmental field experience
• Must possess good electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Ability and willingness to perform field work
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
• OSHA 40hour HAZWOPER Certification is a plus

Pre‑employment screenings: This position requires pre‑employment medical and drug screenings, to the extent allowable by applicable law, and employment is contingent upon successfully completing the pre‑employment screenings.

Salary Range: $66,000 - $110,000 based on experience and location.
