Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Field Technician for a SkillBridge Internship in Cypress, CA, partnering with Vets2PM LLC. You will gain hands-on experience diagnosing HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, and Security systems, while working with our engineering teams and customers to implement improvements.

The internship offers on-site activities, customer interactions, and opportunities to join one of the world’s leading technology companies upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written).
• Ability to interface with customers and travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to diagnose HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security systems and perform maintenance, repair, or installation as needed.
• Consult with engineering and management for discrepancies in drawings or problems arising.
• Interface with customers: complete service work documentation, assist with training materials, and recommend system enhancements.
