Miura America is seeking a Field Technician in Ashland, VA to service, inspect and repair boiler systems. The trainee period provides hands-on training while performing regular maintenance and customer-site water analysis.

Candidates should have a technical background in mechanical and electrical work, strong reporting and communication skills, and a valid driver's license. The role offers full-time hours, diverse field work, and growth within Miura's service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical background with mechanical and electrical experience.
• Mechanical and electrical experience; engineering degree preferred.
• Strong computer skills; report-writing ability essential.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on boiler room equipment.
• Perform and report the results of water analysis at customer's site.
• Troubleshoot and repair boiler room equipment.
• Utilize water management, maintenance, and inspection reports.
• Create proposals for customer site improvements.
• Manage installation projects of boiler and water treatment equipment.
• Adhere to and support all of the company's Safety Health and Environmental program.
• Maintain parts and tool inventory on service vehicle.
• Perform other tasks as required.
