Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role focuses on the physical installation and maintenance of AV, VTC, security, wireless, and cabling systems to create secure, connected environments for customers.

Responsibilities include mounting equipment, installing video endpoints and cameras, and accurately reporting time and materials. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• General construction skills using hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work on ladders.
• Ability to interpret basic schematic drawings and architectural diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical and low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain AV, VTC, physical access and security systems, wireless APs, and cabling under supervision.
• Mount monitors, speakers, video endpoints, surveillance cameras, and door hardware.
• Track and report time and materials against work orders and tickets.
