Job description

One of TEKsystems' clients, an enterprise company headquartered in Birmingham, is looking to hire a Field Technician to join their Field Services organization.

The candidate will be based out of Roswell, GA (northern suburb of Atlanta) and will have responsibility for multiple sites in North Georgia. See Add'l Info for travel details.

The primary responsibilities include area installations, migrations, and performance of IT Infrastructure technology in business offices, plants, and operational environments. This includes project management of installations, migrations, and resolving complex technical issues related to technology such as Wireless, Network Wiring, LAN/WAN Networking, Surveillance Systems, Terminals, PCs, Printers, Time Systems, POS interfaces, Power Supplies, cellular devices, and other IT technologies supporting the business. Support for voice and data copper and fiber infrastructure is also required.

Skills required: Troubleshooting, Technical support, Customer service, cabling, cable management, infrastructure & operations, Active Directory, Desktop support.

Experience Level: Intermediate

Pay range: $35.00 - $43.00/hr
