Job summary

Intelliswift - An LTTS Company is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support IoT deployments. You will install and calibrate hardware, troubleshoot issues, and document site conditions at multiple project sites.

Frequent travel, often on short notice, is required. You will collaborate with the Electro-Mechanical Engineer and product team to surface field issues and contribute to design improvements, while maintaining precise on-site reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field engineering experience in IoT, camera, or sensor deployments.
• Strong knowledge of cellular, Wi-Fi, VPN networking.
• Hands-on experience with camera systems, edge devices, or data-capture hardware.
• Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice.
• Comfortable with wiring, mounting hardware, and field installs.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy hardware across Norway.
• Travel to project sites, including on short notice, to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair deployed equipment.
• Document deployment procedures, site conditions, and equipment performance, and report findings back to the team.
• Partner with the Electro-Mechanical Engineer and product team to surface field issues and inform design improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of field engineering experience, ideally with IoT, camera, or sensor network deployments.
• Strong working knowledge of networking and data connectivity (cellular, Wi-Fi, VPN) sufficient to diagnose camera and data-feed issues.
• Hands-on experience with camera systems, edge devices, or similar data-capture hardware.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude — comfortable with wiring, mounting hardware, and troubleshooting physical installs.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently, including on short notice.
• Ability to work independently on-site, make sound field judgment calls, and escalation appropriately.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for reporting site status and issues back to the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in electro-mechanical systems or hardware-adjacent engineering.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in variable site conditions.
• Experience with remote monitoring of deployed devices for data quality
