Key Job Responsibilities
  • Timely Repairs: Complete assigned jobs within flat rate times to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to KEC/Customer safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
  • Regulation Adherence: Follow contamination control and HAZMAT regulations meticulously.
  • Technical Tasks: Perform parts removal/installation, component assembly/disassembly, and testing with precision.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and recommend effective repairs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the correct operation of all repairs to maintain high standards.
  • Failure Analysis: Apply failure analysis techniques for accurate diagnosis and repair.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work various schedules to meet operational needs.
Additional Information
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified to operate a forklift and/or manlift; may need to complete a DOT physical; MSHA certification required; respirator certification may be needed.
  • Tooling: Basic mechanics tools as per Komatsu's technician tool list.
  • Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Work Environment: Be prepared to work in varying conditions, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and occasional extreme elements. The noise level is moderate.
