Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician in Lima, OH to diagnose and repair heavy equipment across rental and customer fleets.

You’ll work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems using tablets to access data, create and monitor work orders, and identify root causes. Travel to customer sites as needed, maintain complete service documentation, assist in training junior techs, and participate in OEM training year‑round.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems on varied equipment.
• Proficient in diagnosing faults and applying corrective actions.
• Experience with field service and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign and monitor work orders for field service.
• Track service intervals and order parts as needed.
• Diagnose issues and determine root causes for repairs.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation daily.
• Assist training of junior technicians as needed.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required.
• Keep service vehicle clean and professional; adhere to OSHA guidelines.

As a Field Technician, you’ll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models.
