Job summary

On-Site Health & Safety in Hollister, CA is seeking a Health & Safety Incident Response Technician (Field Technician) to respond to diverse worksites, from construction to refineries, in a company vehicle. The role emphasizes hands-on incident response, safety monitoring, and medical support in the field.

Ideal candidates are EMT, paramedic, or licensed nurse with field experience and are comfortable with long drives, on-call rotations, and delivering first aid, health screenings, and incident

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Insurable by our motor vehicle policy (3+ years driving history or defensive driving training; no severe driving record).
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to various worksites in the field with a company vehicle.
• Provide first aid, incident reports, and health screenings.
• Draw blood when certified and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with teams at worksites.

Are You Ready to Join Our Team?

We're seeking dedicated professionals with education or experience in:

• EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
• Or with additional in-house training: Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
• Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements.

Additional Notes

• Field Technicians must be excellent communicators, comfortable with public speaking, and able to articulate instructions clearly.
• You should be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
• Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances is essential.
