The Position

We are looking for team members who value customer service, relationship building, and a sense of urgency in helping customers. The Installation Technician will install point of sale equipment, peripherals, surveillance systems, structured cabling, and network management devices at restaurant locations. They should be efficient with basic power and hand tools, possess problem-solving skills, adapt to field changes, follow directions from supervisors, and communicate effectively.

The Installation Technician will work closely with the Production team, meet deadlines, be detail oriented, and have a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Install structured network cabling (Cat-5, Cat-6) and terminate ends
Install hardware devices (POS touchscreens, kitchen display equipment, payment devices, firewalls, switches, IP cameras, etc.)
Install network racks (6U, 12U, etc.)
Provide final testing of installed equipment to ensure proper function
Document all field work
Drive company vehicles
Seek out and/or accept ongoing learning opportunities
Adapt to changing technologies, solutions, and duties at any time

Reporting The Installation Technicians will report directly to the Production Manager and work with other Installation Technicians. Success depends on learning the technology used and meeting deadlines.
