Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks a Field Service/Technical Support Engineer to provide remote and on-site support for complex electro-mechanical systems. You will diagnose, repair, and debug equipment, software, and networked/wireless systems, while developing strong customer relationships.

The role requires up to 25% travel domestically and internationally. A engineering degree with relevant experience is required; radar/surveillance expertise, communication skills, and independent troubleshooting abilities

Qualifications

• BA/BS or MA/MS in engineering or related discipline with 2+ years experience, or 6+ years military/aerospace experience.
• Experience with design, operation or maintenance of radar and surveillance systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers for complex systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and debug electro-mechanical equipment, software, and networks.
• Refer design or software issues to engineering teams and report bugs.
• Interact with customers to build lasting relationships and support installations.
