Allen Control Systems is looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to act as an on-site subject matter expert for their autonomous systems during both domestic and international operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in technical operations or field engineering, with strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and software systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical operations, field engineering, or robotics/mechatronics.
• Ability to work independently in challenging environments with minimal support.

Responsibilities

• Act as an on-site product SME for ACS systems during events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to identify and solve problems.
• Perform basic Linux-based tasks including log access and configuration updates.

Troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, software)

Mechanical aptitude

Networking concepts (wired and mesh)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
