Job summary

ONEMESA is seeking a Senior Corrosion Technician to protect critical infrastructure through monitoring, testing, and maintaining corrosion control systems. The role involves extensive fieldwork, travel, and outdoor work in varying conditions, with potential leadership of inspections and program management depending on experience.

Candidates should have AMPP CP2 certification and experience with corrosion inspections, testing equipment, and data collection.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: ability to follow detailed instructions; strong communication and teamwork; physical ability to handle tools and stand for long periods; willingness to work outside; valid driver's license; basic computer skills including spreadsheets.
• Preferred Qualifications: corrosion tech or related technical training or certification; experience with corrosion inspections and testing equipment; knowledge of API/AMPP standards; exposure to oil & gas or manufacturing environments; familiarity with corrosion monitoring software and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to identify corrosion and material degradation.
• Conduct testing such as ultrasonic thickness measurements and coating inspections.
• Collect and document field data; prepare clear reports.
• Maintain and calibrate testing and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and report issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with SAFETY protocols and company policies.
