Job summary

Lewis Environmental LLC is seeking a field technician to execute assignments across Remediation, Waste Transportation, Industrial Maintenance, and Emergency Response, while upholding the company’s core values of safety, accountability, integrity, and quality.

Responsibilities include following supervisor directions, performing manual labor tasks and industrial cleaning, and traveling daily or overnight for planned and emergency work, all while complying with safety rules and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Clean MVR and criminal background required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must have flexibility in personal schedule including weekend and on call status.
  • Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Accountability, Integrity, and Teamwork.
  • 40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is a plus.
  • DOT Examiner’s Certificate.

Summary

This position is responsible for executing field assignments within the Company’s four service lines: Remediation, Waste Transportation, Industrial Maintenance, and Emergency Response while ensuring Lewis Environmental, Inc. Core Values: Safety, Accountability, Integrity and Quality are instilled in everything we do and lead by example.

Expectations/Responsibilities

Follow direction of supervisors to perform assigned tasks. Practice safe work Practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs. Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks. Perform Industrial Cleaning tasks in accordance with Company and/or Client Policy and Procedures to ensure safety and quality goals are met. Travel daily and overnight when performing both planned and emergency services work. Adhere to all regulations and procedures regarding the handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Additional responsibilities will be shared with qualified applicants during the interview process.

Qualifications/Competencies
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Criminal Background.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must have flexibility in personal schedule including weekend and on call status
  • Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Accountability, Integrity, and Teamwork.
  • 40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is a plus.
  • DOT Examiner’s Certificate
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor the majority of the day
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to wear respirators as needed
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs.
  • Ability to travel in inclement weather and work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold
  • Able to tolerate exposure to moderate noise levels
