Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician Team Lead in Alabama to lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment at agricultural or industrial sites. You will instruct and lead field technicians daily, uphold safety standards, and represent the company with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field teams in industrial or agricultural settings.
• Proven ability to train and supervise personnel in safe work practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Train department personnel with day-to-day guidance and safety emphasis.
• Inspect finished jobs to ensure quality control.
• Read work orders to determine assignments and material needs.
• Select pipe sizes and related materials per specifications.
• Load and unload materials and equipment per specs.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings and equipment.
• Inspect and test installed systems using gauges and tests.
• Use hand and power tools to maintain pipe systems.
• Complete department paperwork and change orders in the field.
• Promote cooperation with Branch and Corporate personnel.
