Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to join our service operations nationwide. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery in client facilities, with extensive fieldwork and customer interaction.

You will work with PLCs, three‑phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics while ensuring safety and quality on every job. The position offers competitive hourly pay, profit sharing, and strong health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Field Service Technician experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PLC, three-phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proven machinery maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision making under pressure.
• Exceptional customer service with ability to explain technical info to non-technical clients.
• Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork.
• Must live within one hour of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment including PLC, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
• Maintain accurate service records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed in field operations.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve machinery efficiency.
