Jobot is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to join our service operations nationwide. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery in client facilities, with extensive fieldwork and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Field Service Technician experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PLC, three-phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proven machinery maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision making under pressure.
• Exceptional customer service with ability to explain technical info to non-technical clients.
• Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork.
• Must live within one hour of a major airport.

Responsibilities

Salary: $30 - $36 per hour

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. This position is a crucial part of our service operations, providing expert technical service and support to our clients. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in PLC, three-phase motors, machinery repair, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of our industrial machinery and systems. This is a permanent, full-time role that involves extensive fieldwork and offers a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

• 1. Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, including PLC, three-phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
• 2. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• 3. Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and faults, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• 4. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, effectively addressing their queries and concerns.
• 5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• 6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all field operations.
• 7. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement strategies for machinery efficiency improvement.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician in the engineering industry or a related field.
• 2. Extensive knowledge and experience with PLC, three-phase motors, machinery repair, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• 3. Proven experience in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
• 4. Excellent technical and mechanical skills.
• 5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• 6. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical clients.
• 7. Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
