Job summary

Baker Group seeks a field technician to install, program, troubleshoot and startup access control, fire alarm, parking revenue controls, and related low voltage systems across commercial sites.

You will coordinate with IT for network integration, provide exceptional customer service, and document maintenance steps after project completion. Some travel within Iowa and the Midwest is required.

Qualifications

• Certified access control, surveillance, fire or parking revenue knowledge preferred.
• Experience with commercial building systems and network integration.
• Ability to obtain NICET 1 and 2 certifications and Iowa alarm license.

Responsibilities

• Handle installation, service, programming, and startup of access control, surveillance, fire, and related systems.
• Coordinate network integration with IT; learn advanced configurations.
• Provide documentation for operation and maintenance after project completion.
• Travel within Iowa and Midwest for installations and startups.
