Job summary

Birdseye Security Solutions in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks a Field Service & Systems Technician to manage deployments and post-installation support, balancing field service with in-house hardware staging and programming.

You’ll travel occasionally, install, troubleshoot CCTV and network systems, document site conditions, and support inventory and buildout efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in low-voltage systems, CCTV, networking, or field service operations.
• Strong understanding of IP networking concepts and basic power systems.
• Excellent communication and customer-first service mindset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Field service & customer support: on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for CCTV systems and network infrastructure.
• On-site installations, hardware swaps, and field retrofits per safety standards.
• Documentation: detailed service tickets and site condition notes in real time.
• Escalation: resolve intermediate issues and collaborate with project managers or senior technicians.
• Warehouse support: assist with staging, inventory, and equipment preparation for deployments.
