Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Field Technician in Florida. The role supports environmental sampling across air, soil, and water, with opportunities to build field knowledge and participate in testing programs.

The position requires a high school diploma, travel readiness, and prior lab or environmental experience is preferred. Monday–Friday shifts with possible overtime and weekend work are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in related work preferred.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• The ability to travel with some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related media.
• Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issues.
• Support the review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet operational and organizational needs.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; escape issues when needed.
• Contribute to team effectiveness by offering suggestions for improvements.
• Promote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions with customers and coworkers.

Compensation:

$17.50/hr.
Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, OT as needed

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred

• The ability to travel with some overnight stays

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid driver’s license

• Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining all required licenses and certifications in active status
