Job summary

Pace Analytical is seeking a Field Technician I in Huntersville, NC. You will travel to client sites to collect and test environmental samples across air, soil, and water, using standard field practices and documenting results.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience and a path to develop field knowledge within a supportive team. You will operate vehicles, maintain logs and assist with program improvements while upholding safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water, etc.).
• Perform field services using standard environmental practices and document results.
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for daily field operations and maintain logs.
