Job summary

Reeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking a dependable Tank Build/Maintenance Technician for hands-on field work at Fort Worth facility and customer sites. You will support the Tank team with fuel polishing, maintenance, assembly, cleaning, and related services while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires travel, overtime availability, and a willingness to learn. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or mechanical training preferred.
• Valid Class C driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer and job sites.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform fuel polishing services at customer locations and job sites.
• Assist Tank team with maintenance, assembly, preparation, cleaning, and field service work.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
• Perform paint preparation, power washing, and general cleaning of tanks and equipment.
• Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip forklift inspections.
• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload tanks, equipment, and materials.
• Document tank builds, modifications, fuel polishing services, and equipment changes.
• Work safely at heights with fall-protection equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and job sites.
• Travel to customer locations and job sites, including occasional overnight travel.
• Collaborate with Tank team to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
