Job summary

Retif Oil & Fuel, a major distributor in the southeast, seeks a field maintenance technician to service fuel tanks and related equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will travel to sites, inspect tanks, install gauges, maintain inventories, and prep tanks for shipment. A high school diploma and TWIC eligibility are required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• The best candidate will have the following qualifications: High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Must be TWIC-eligible and willing to obtain a TWIC card if not already in possession of one.
• Must be at least 25 years old.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer sites and interface with customers at all levels when required.
• Perform onsite maintenance and repairs on various equipment such as fuel tanks.
• Maintain inventory of all tanks and equipment.
• Clean, pressure wash, and paint tanks to prep them for customers.
• Prepare fuel and lubricant tanks for shipment to customer sites.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform maintenance at customer site locations.
• Install and maintain fuel tank gauges, including the installation and hardware configuration on automatic tank gauges and point of sales systems.
• Perform tank and site inspections at customer locations.

Education

High school diploma/GED or equivalent
