TEKsystems in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Telecommunications Technician for a contract-to-hire, fully onsite role. You will install, configure, and maintain low-voltage systems, including door access control, video surveillance, data/fiber cabling, and business phone systems, with TCP/IP networking and basic server knowledge.

Job Overview

The Telecommunications Technician will keep systems updated and running smoothly, including new installations and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems, including door access control, video surveillance, data/fiber optic cabling, and business phone systems. Service of these systems requires TCP/IP networking knowledge, server/ PC knowledge, infrastructure installation, and database programming in a Windows Explorer interface
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
• Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality and operation.
• Pull, terminate, and install low-voltage cabling.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
