Job summary

FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies Company, seeks a hands-on System Engineer to deliver industrial control system services to local customers. This field-heavy role requires on-site visits, field instrumentation interfacing, and collaboration with technicians and engineers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PLC programming and HMI experience (Wonderware, VTScada, Lookout) and a BS in Electrical/Electronics engineering or an equivalent combination of education and field

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on PLC programming and process/flow control experience.

Responsibilities

Provide local industrial/commercial control systems engineering service for customers (SCADA, PLC programming, CAD drawings, industrial networking).
Support instrument technicians in the field with interfacing field devices to DCS/SCADA systems and testing.
Collaborate with engineers to manage project backlogs and maintain customer relationships.
Identify opportunities for system and hardware upgrades at customer facilities.
Document job activity with logs and safety protocols on active job sites.
Travel to local job sites daily using a company vehicle.
