Qualifications

• Foundation in surveying concepts including horizontal and vertical control.
• Ability to read structural/architectural/shop drawings and layout from drawings.
• Knowledge of measurement, geometry and trigonometry relevant to earthwork and grading.

Responsibilities

• Establish horizontal control and verify accuracy of consultant-provided control.
• Establish vertical control and working benchmarks from provided control.
• Layout footings, columns, and building lines with no assistance.
• Compute concrete quantities for pours and daily earthwork.
• Read contour maps and plot cross-sections for earthwork calculations.
