EMC Mechanical Services in Richmond, VA is seeking a Field Survey Technician to support our Construction Team. The role focuses on surveying mechanical and plumbing installations, collecting precise data, and ensuring layouts meet project specifications, codes, and design documents.

You will use Hilti Total Station and other surveying tools to establish elevations, reference points, and as-built measurements, coordinating with engineers and project managers to align field data with plans.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a Surveyor in mechanical or plumbing construction.
• Proficient with total station surveying equipment.
• Strong knowledge of piping and HVAC layouts.

Responsibilities

• Survey with Total Station to measure piping, vents, ducts, and fixtures.
• Establish reference points, lines, and elevations for installations.
• Perform as-built surveys to verify alignment with design.
