Civil Works Contracting is seeking a motivated Land Surveyor to join our team. You will conduct precise field surveys, interpret blueprints, and support construction projects through accurate surveying practices.

Your expertise will help ensure the successful planning and execution of our civil infrastructure projects. The role requires operating total stations, GPS devices, and levels with a focus on safety and accuracy on busy job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial construction or civil surveying environments.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
• Mechanical knowledge of survey equipment repair and maintenance.
• Familiarity with erosion control techniques and environmental safety practices.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards including respiratory protection, lifting, climbing and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries and topographical features.
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project development.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, including total stations, GPS devices, and levels.
• Assist in implementing OSHA safety standards and adhere to on-site safety regulations.
• Provide survey data to project teams to support planning and execution.
