Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Texas is seeking an entry-level Survey Support Assistant to help skilled craftspersons on our construction projects. You will perform foundational tasks under direct supervision while learning essential surveying concepts and safety practices.

You will assist with line marking, elevations, measurements and operation of surveying tools, under close supervision, and you will be exposed to field conditions and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit instructions.
• Field experience in surveying or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craftspersons with surveying tasks.
• Cut brush, place stakes and markers for line delineation.
• Assist in establishing elevations and grades.
• Operate and maintain surveying tools and instruments.
• Learn to set up electronic measuring and sighting equipment.
