Luck Grove Telecom, Inc. in Farmington, CT, is hiring a Survey Technician for full-time work. You will collect data along telecommunications routes with training provided; no prior experience is required.

The schedule involves national travel, typically Monday through Saturday, with a 4.5 week on/10 days off pattern. Responsibilities include route walking, using telecom apps, and data uploads. Requirements include age 23+, Real ID driver license, weather endurance, OSHA 10, and a drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old
• Must have a valid Real ID compliant driver's license
• Must be capable to walk/hike/trek 10+ miles a day and meet daily quotas
• Must be capable of working in all weather conditions and environments
• Work in areas with wildlife, dogs, and people
• All new hires must complete a 10 hour OSHA Certification online
• Required to pass a 10 panel drug test

Responsibilities

• Walk telecommunications routes through rural and urban areas
• Use applications/software for communication, shift assignment, and data collection
• Meet data collection quotas along routes using IKE and other equipment/technology
• Upload collected data at end of shift via Wi-Fi
• Travel planning including hotels and rentals
• Attend daily coordinator calls to review jobs and maps
