Actalent is seeking a Surveyor Technician to support a field survey crew by assisting the Crew Chief with day-to-day operations, focusing on accurate data collection, safety, equipment care, and professional conduct in the field.

You'll operate survey instruments such as total stations and GPS, record field data, and help locate features for ALTA and topographic surveys while working outdoors year-round and traveling overnight when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years land survey field experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Experience with land surveys and ALTA/topographic surveys preferred.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Crew Chief in operating a field survey crew to complete land and topographic surveys.
• Operate survey equipment, including total stations and GPS instruments, to collect field data.
• Document field features according to project and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Follow safety procedures and protect equipment.
• Perform fieldwork across varied terrains and conditions.
• Support ALTA and construction-related survey activities.
• Use survey CAD and related tools for data management.
• Demonstrate professional conduct with clients and stakeholders.
• Travel overnight to support projects as needed.
