Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Survey Field Technician to join our field crew and contribute to topographic, boundary surveys, and construction stakeouts. You will be in the field, using modern survey equipment to bring plans to life with precision.

You will work outdoors on varied projects, recording data, producing sketches, and mastering surveying software. A potential sign-on/relocation bonus may be offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related survey experience.
• Construction staking experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Trimble Business Center (TBC), Autodesk AutoCAD 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver license and ability to work outdoors in varied field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art survey equipment in the field.
• Navigate diverse terrains to complete surveys.
• Take meticulous measurements to support project data.
• Record vital data and prepare detailed sketches.
• Use surveying software to collect, retrieve, and interpret data.
• Perform survey computations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
