Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc is seeking a qualified full-time Survey Field Technician to support design activities, boundary surveying, and construction layouts in the field. You will work with a survey crew chief, collecting data and providing sketches and layouts for construction projects.

The role requires operating GPS, total stations, scanners, and data collectors, performing field surveys (staking, ALTA, topo), and organizing field equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under guidance of a survey crew chief.
• Operate total station and GPS in static and RTK modes.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain.
• Basic office suite computer skills.
• Experience in field surveying tasks (staking, ALTA, topo) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Discharge duties as requested by Crew Chief.
• Perform field work for land surveying including staking, boundary location, ALTA, and topography.
• Organize survey truck, equipment, and supplies.
• Operate GPS, total stations, scanners, and data collectors.
• Transfer files between data collectors and project folders.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients and coworkers.
• Follow Safety, Quality, and Equipment Maintenance policies.
• Lead by example with professionalism and integrity.
