Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum of two years of experience within the surveying or related construction industry.
• Understanding of standard land surveying methods.
• Ability to perform outdoor field work throughout the year in varying weather conditions and jobsite environments.
• Proficiency with survey equipment (Trimble, Leica, or similar).
• Basic understanding of civil construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and site plans.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Utilize multiple types of surveying equipment to assist field crews with daily data collection activities for boundary, topographic, and construction staking/layout surveys.
• Support field survey operations under the direction of the Crew Foreman while providing updates on progress and identifying field issues as they arise.
• Operate and maintain surveying technology, including robotic total stations, GNSS systems, data collectors/radios, and digital or automatic levels.
• Prepare organized and accurate field documentation and measurement records for survey activities under Crew Foreman guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of survey instruments, tools, and company vehicles.
• Adhere to established company safety standards, procedures, and operational policies.
