Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Willing to learn pipeline design surveys and construction staking.
• Ability to record information legibly and accurately (field notes).
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
• Safety-conscious and able to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site representative for WSP.
• Attend a Job Hazard Analysis Meeting every morning with field crew.
• Locate and probe existing gas lines.
• Conduct topographic survey data collection for terrain features.
• Take field notes of gathered data.
• Prepare for landowner interactions and relay questions to Sr. Surveyors.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on survey tasks.
• Comply with safety guidelines and procedures.
• Travel as required up to 90% depending on project needs.
