Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an experienced field survey professional to support our Geomatics team in Columbus, OH.

The role focuses on boundary, topographic, land title surveys and construction staking, using Trimble and AutoCAD Civil3D tools to deliver accurate data for Engineers and project teams. The position emphasizes field work with exposure to the elements, potential travel, and a clear path toward Professional Licensure, aligned with client projects and safety

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical school diploma/certificate in a related program with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combo.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate measurements and calculations.
• Recording of field data.
• Supervising survey field crew.
• Ensuring completion dates and budgets are met.
• Utilizing Trimble Business Center to transfer data to the proper location in the computer network and to acquire data for field use.
• Assist in the preparation of survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D software.
