Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a survey assistant to support field surveys, laser scanning, and drafting tasks for industrial facilities and developments. You will work under a professional land surveyor, with occasional short travel and weekend work as required.

The role requires 2+ years of surveying/CAD experience, familiarity with field instruments, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Carlson Software. No registration is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of land surveying experience and CAD drafting.
• Associates degree in CAD, Surveying/Geomatics or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field surveys, laser scanning, and construction staking.
• Operate field equipment like robotic total stations, data collectors, GPS, and laser scanners.
• Coordinate survey findings with engineering and design teams.
• Prepare drawings for design and construction of facilities and developments.
• Record survey results including location, elevation, and dimensions.
