Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a skilled land survey assistant to support field surveys, laser scanning, and CAD work for industrial facilities, roads, and development projects. You will work under a licensed surveyor and help collect data, prepare drawings, and assist with construction staking.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in land surveying or CAD, proficiency with AutoCAD and Carlson software, and the ability to work outdoors, travel occasionally, and lift
Generally responsible for assisting with field surveys, laser scanning, construction staking, computer aided drafting and elementary survey computations, laser scan registration, and preparing drawings to be used for the design and construction of industrial facilities, roadways, residential and commercial developments.
This work will be performed under the supervision of a professional land surveyor.
Short-term travel and/or weekend work will be required.

This position requires 2+ years of relevant experience in land surveying and computer aided drafting.
