Job summary

Primoris Pipeline is seeking a Survey Rodman to assist the field survey crew on pipeline construction projects. You will operate GPS, total stations, levels, and help maintain equipment while ensuring clear lines of sight and accurate measurements.

You will clear brush, drive markers, and transport gear, with a focus on safety and ability to follow instructions in varying outdoor conditions. Travel and long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction or outdoor work preferred.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain surveying equipment under direction of a Survey Party Chief.
• Clear brush and obstructions to establish clear lines of sight.
• Drive markers into the ground to denote survey points and alignments.
• Measure distances using tape measures and stadia rods.
• Carry and transport survey equipment to and from job sites.
• Assist with setup and teardown of survey equipment.
• Read and interpret survey stakes and basic construction plans.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with survey crew and project personnel.
• Perform other duties to support survey operations.
