Job summary

EMH&T in Columbus, OH is seeking a Rodman to support our Survey team. The role is full-time and field-based, reporting to a Survey Crew Chief or Instrument Operator. You will assist with site construction staking, capture coordinates and elevations, and help maintain equipment and supplies.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors year-round, lift heavy items, and comply with safety testing. No prior experience is required; training provided. Willingness to travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Overtime and occasional travel/out-of-town work possible.

Responsibilities

• Site construction staking or capturing survey coordinates and elevations.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and supplies for the survey crew.
• Carry and deliver stakes, pins, paint, poles, and other supplies to sites.
• Assist in running level rod or prism pole for elevations.
• May assist with other physical tasks to complete a land survey at development sites.
