Superior Construction is seeking a Survey Project Manager to oversee survey tasks and procedures on assigned projects. This role involves translating engineering plans into accurate field layouts for construction.

The ideal candidate will have field-based project execution experience, at least 5 years in surveying, and experience with bridge projects. Travel is required; the position is full-time and field-based at various heavy civil sites.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma.
• 5 years’ experience in the surveying industry.
• Field-based project execution experience.
• 3-year minimum of construction layout.
• One-year minimum of bridge experience.

Aufgaben

• Communicate with Superintendents and Foremen for survey requests.
• Support and direct all survey crews assigned to their projects.
• Perform layout work for roadways, structures, utilities and related tasks.
• Determine methods for recovery of existing survey control and establish secondary control as needed.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment including total stations, levels, GPS, and related gear.
• Familiar with Topcon/Leica/Trimble hardware and software or capacity to learn.
