Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with surveying principles, field procedures, and construction layout.
• Experience with robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS, data collectors, and digital levels.
• Experience interpreting plans, plats, deeds, and survey documents.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass MVR; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Willingness to travel to field locations including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a field survey crew.
• Perform boundary, topographic, construction, ALTA/NSPS, utility surveys.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot surveying instruments.
• Collect measurements, elevations, and site information.
• Maintain field notes and survey documentation.
• Communicate with project managers, licensed surveyors, contractors, and clients.
• Manage daily field activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
