Job summary

Windrose Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced PARTY CHIEF/SURVEYOR for heavy civil projects in North Carolina. The role involves supervising land surveys, planning field survey work, gathering data with Carlson/CADD, and coordinating a survey team across multiple sites.

Candidates should have 2-10 years in heavy civil surveying, proficiency with AutoCAD, Carlson, Trimble/Topcon, and related equipment, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Heavy civil construction survey experience required.
• 2-10 years of land surveying in heavy civil industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying preferred but not required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Carlson, Trimble & Topcon, Total Station Robotic Equipment, and Machine GPS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise land surveys and oversee the project survey team.
• Gather field data using proper survey equipment and draft plats.
• Utilize Carlson/CADD software for survey drawings and data reduction.
• Perform work on heavy highway/heavy civil site projects including utilities and centerline layouts.
• Update and improve existing survey drawings and communicate with engineering teams.
