Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field operations with our Survey Geospatial Team in Norwell, Boston, or Hartford.

You will supervise daily survey activities, ensure safety, accuracy, and efficient coordination of crews, and deliver reliable survey data for transportation projects. Required: high school diploma (associates or bachelor’s preferred), minimum 3 years in surveying, strong knowledge of surveying practices, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of surveying practices and field procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead field crews through daily survey tasks with safety and efficiency.
• Perform surveys using total stations, data collectors, and GPS.
• Review plans and project materials to plan surveying work and set goals.
• Create and verify field sketches and computations for traversal and layout.
